We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a drinks reception with the Secretary of State for Business and Trade & Minister for Women and Equalities, Rt Hon Kemi Badenoch MP.
Having entered Parliament in 2017, after previously serving in the London Assembly, Kemi first served as the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Children and Families in 2019, and later being promoted to the Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury and Minister of State for Equalities under Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Kemi was first appointed to the Cabinet as Secretary of State for International Trade by Liz Truss, and was re-appointed by Rishi Sunak, until her Department was merged with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
This event is open to all young members of the Conservative and Unionist Party. However, if you are not a member of the Young Conservative Network and wish to join, sign up for free here.
For the purposes of security, the event’s location will be released 24 hours before, and tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
